Gender Reveal Celebration
The Gender Reveal celebration is a very recent type of party that was developed in the 2000s. This party happens before the baby is born.
During this celebration, as the name describes it, the parents will invite their friends and family to reveal the gender of the baby, often using pink to reveal a girl and blue to reveal a boy. They also sometimes discover the gender at the same time as the family and friends! Fun party games will take place during the event to entertain the celebration.
So what is the difference between a Baby Shower and a Gender Reveal Party? While guests will offer lots of gifts to the new parents to come for both celebrations, the Baby Shower is usually only for women and the Gender Reveal Celebration for women and men.
